Whistlers Inn Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Jasper National Park townsite within walking distance of all shops, services and outdoor mountain activities. The Inn boasts a cozy alpine atmosphere and 64 spacious guest rooms, many with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges. 1925 was the official year for completion of the Canadian National Railway Station situated in the centre of what was eventually to be called the townsite of Jasper. Rail travel was glamorous in the 1930s and 1940s and Jasper National Park was among one of the most popular destinations for celebrities and movie stars of that era. As travel and trade increased, the small town of Jasper flourished into a town offering a Trading Post, Firehall, Post Office, General Store and Hotels. One of these Hotels, known back then as the Pyramid Hotel, grew and became what today is known as the Whistlers Inn Hotel
