Wellesley Boutique Hotel is a magnificently restored grade one heritage building. Designed by William Gray Young in 1927, this masterpiece was awarded a gold medal for architecture. It is regarded as Wellington’s finest example of neo-Georgian architecture. It has a staircase that was imported from London and which winds its way from the lobby up to the 5th floor. Original artworks hang on the wall all the way up.
