The hotel nestles under the five summits of Ben Loyal and is surrounded by lush green vegetation influenced by the gulf stream. The hotel was originally built in 1880 as a hunting lodge and, despite the numerous refurbishment's taken place, still retains much of its Victorian style and charm.
