Cabanas resort is a small informal resort of Malay style cabins in tropical gardens, situated on a stretch of golden beach. It is run by Martin and Heather Briggs who have been associated with the island for 20 years. They have recently refurbished the cabins, retaining the simple Malay style, but with funky bathrooms and beds with white cotton linen.The bar, restaurant and lounge are situated on the beach front with stunning views of Pulau Tingi. Decorated in Malay style with local teak lounge furniture, it is perfect for relaxing with a bottle of wine or making new friends at the bar.
