The Sogndal hotel benefits from a very good location to explore the area, though the immediate surroundings are not particularly inspirational. A practical choice. This hotel is totally non-smoking in all rooms. The rooms are medium sized. They are nicely decorated in the simple style typical of Scandinavian hotels with wood laminate floors and warm, bright colourschemes. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. The Sogndal hotel is the meeting place for the people of this area when they go out to dine, it therefore has a selection of different eating places of very good standard. This is a modern hotel. Much of the outside of the building is clad with reflective glass more reminiscent of a Frankfurt bank than a Norwegian countryside hotel!
