They are traditionally furnished and the floors are tiled. The bathrooms are small though adequate and in very good condition. Opens onto a sun filled manueline cloister glassed in with vaulted ceiling and marble font overlooking the courtyard. It is medium in size and can seat a maximum of sixty guests. It serves traditional and regional meals. This Pousada was originally a 15th century monastery built on the foundations of an ancient castle and is entered through courtyards of sweet smelling orange trees.
