The Itacare Village is located within the Villas of Sao Jose Condominium, which is a residential and hotel-oriented condominium with a 176 hectare area which, in turn, is located within an Environment Protection area. Of this area, 70% is comprised of virgin Mata Atlantica forest. Inside the condominium there is a Natural Heritage Private Reservation that preserves this native forest which is one of the most beautiful and rich in the region.
