Hotel Information

Hotel Perren was built between 1937 and 1939 by the brothers Hermann and Alfred Perren. At first the hotel consisted only of one two-storey building. Alfons Biner, the owner of the Biner bakery, bought the hotel in 1956. From then on, the hotel was run by Biner's daughter Rosemaire and her husband, Willy Perren. The 3rd and 4th storeys were added in 1961.The second building, which also has 4 storeys, was built between 1969 and 1970. Alfons Biner's younger daughter, Astrid, and her husband, Armin Bregy, joined the business, and from then on the 2 sisters and their husbands ran the 3-star Hotel Perren with its 115 beds. Over a period of 8 months starting in the spring of 2000 the hotel was restructured, enlarged and refurbished. The inside walls of the hotel were demolished. Only the outside walls and the floors were left standing. The south facade was brought forward almost 4 metres. This resulted in larger, more spacious rooms
