The Hotel Inglaterra was founded in 1875 and declared a national monument for its historic value. It is the oldest building that is still in use on the island. In its time, it was place to be for the Havana intellectuals. During its lengthy history, famous people have been guests here. The property, located in an important area of Old Havana, is neoclassic in design with imported mosaic from Spain.
