Welcome to Laerdal’s Hotel Grandane. A stone’s throw away, you will find the idyllic village settlement of Old Laerdalsoyri. Laerdal is located innermost in the Sognefjord. Part of the Sognefjord - the Naeroyfjord - was given world heritage status in 2005. World-famous attractions such as the Flam railway, Borgund stave church, Aurlandsdalen valley, Jostedalsbreen glacier and the Naeroyfjord are all found close to Laerdal. A visit to the antique and handicraft shops in Old Laerdalsoyri is also recommended, or drop by the Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre. The guests are mainly tourists from all corners of the globe.
