Although the island is quite unknown it provides a good infrastructure and connection to the main-land, the new airport of Trad is only 30 km away from the pier of Laem Ngob, flying time to Bangkok is only 50 minutes. Alternativly one of the coaches will bring you to Trat or Laem Ngop, taking about 5-6 hours on the newly built highway. There are ferry and speedboat connections to Koh Mak.
