The ship was built in 1967, in Ganz Obudai Hajogyar. It cruised the Danube as a holiday ship of the Trade Unions SZOT until November 1992. A complete rebuilding of the whole interior of the ship took place in 2000. During this, the cabins were enlarged, and an English Pub was created in place of the former engine room.
