The stunning architectural landmark comprises three villas dating back to the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. After crossing the magnificent large doors of the hotel, guests walk into an authentic, colonial guest house. The building is decorated with paintings which depict the aesthetic eclecticism prevalent in Havana. The spacious and well illuminated lobby area rekindles the captivating living room of a stately 19th century Havana mansion, and leads to the attractive "Catedral" breakfast room, named after the nearby cathedral and its eponymous square. The hotel also features two inner courtyards, "La Arcada" and "La Yagruma". "La Arcada" has a mural depicting arches and galleries of the old city, while "La Yagruma" is for those who prefer calmness and contemplation
