Catalonia Portal De L'Angel, originally a Neoclassical Palace that has been listed as a heritage building. Catalonia Albinoni was built in 1876 and converted to a hotel in 1998. Many of the original features have been restored such as the baroque motifs, the interior courtyard and beautiful marble staircase. This smart new hotel is in a restored modernist building, situated in the heart of Barcelona, next to the cathedral and situated in a pedestrian steet, next to Plaza Cataluna, one of the best shopping areas in the city.It is a pleasure to enter Catalonia Portal De L'Angel and admire its neoclassical beauty.
