Canaletto Hotel Venice built in 1986 is situated halfway between Piazza San Marco and the famous Rialto Bridge. It is set in a small square, and is within reasonable walking distance from the main historical sites of this city. The lobby area is brightly lit and has been furnished with a marble tiled floor. The lounge area is similarly decorated, with small arrangements of padded regency style chairs. The walls have prints and paintings adorning them. It is a very attractive hotel, with a homely atmosphere and good decor throughout. The hotel is situated in a fairly good location, and not too far from the main tourist areas.
