The John Bauer enjoys an excellent and easily accessible location and is a very well equipped property. The rooms Are medium in size and kept in good condition and Are smartly- decorated in a modern style. They Are of a good size, with the only possible complaint being that there is almost too much furniture in a few of the rooms. This is hardly a negative point however, and the quality of the furnishings is high. The restaurant is a medium sized room decorated primarily in warm, traditional colours. This is a compact brick building fronted by a wide esplanade.
