On January 18, 1952 Don Jesus Avila, his wife Dona Lucila and her son Jesus of 8 years old, arrived to the Port of Buenos Aires, seeking for a better future. In March of that year they settled in Animan? , close to Cafayate, then move to Cafayate, where they rented an old house with spacious areas, patios and vineyards. It is in this place where the story of Hotel Asturias begins.
