Ambos Mundos Boutique offers discreet and eclectic architecture from the 1920s, a cosy and intimate atmosphere and stands out as a unique landmark.During the 1930s it was visited by the North American author and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature Ernest Hemingway. During his stay he wrote the first chapter of his novel "For Whom the Bell Tolls?" and once stated that the hotel was a good place to write in. Today, Hemingway's room exhibits many of his personal belongings, among them his typewriter.
