The James Joyce?s pub and restaurant was refurbished in late 2009 and serves local produce and the bar has live traditional music at weekends. Major sporting events are shown on the big screen. A bit deceptive and perhaps not particularly inspiring exterior, the hotel blends in with the shops that are located down Middle Abbey Street. The James Joyce Cafe Bar draws your attention however.
