If you want to know where to stay in Chiang Mai you should visit Western House Hotel. Friendly staff, great rooms and all the services of a large hotel but with the personal attention of a guesthouse or bed and breakfast. The tours and treks were excellent and they arranged motorcycle rental and even arranged pick up from the airport, all at very reasonable rates. Great value.
