Hotel Viktorija occupies a five-storey Art-Nouveau building in the central part of Riga built in 1910. Designed by architect J. Asaris. During the years 1998-2000 it was under partial reconstruction.After the restoration of independence in the Republic of Latvia, the Hotel Viktorija was one of the first to obtain the status of a private hotel in 1993, and it is owned by the company "Rigas Viesis" Ltd.Hotel Viktorija is a member of the Latvian Hotel and Restaurants Association. In 1996 Viktorija Hotel was awarded a certificate of three stars status, it is a tourist class hotel with good service and reasonable price.
