The Point Hotel Edinburgh offers a basic base from which to explore the city of Edinburgh. The hotel is a mere 10 minute walk from Princes Street, which is Edinburgh's main street which stretches around 1 mile from Lothian Road to Leith Street.Some areas of the hotel are in need of some Tender Loving Care...* The hotel will undergo renovation from 29/04/2013 until approximately 31/12/2013 completion date is subject to change. The work will take place on a floor by floor basis with no work occurring in August.* Please note that the reception and the restaurant of the Point hotel will be under refurbishment from 12 May 13 to 24 June 13. The Reception Desk will be temporarily moved to the Conference Centre. The restaurant will not be open for lunch or dinner. There will be room service option and no tray service will be charged. The bar will be open with limited bar food options. Full Scottish Breakfast will be served in the bar.
