On the top of a cliff, Quinta do Furao Hotel is surrounded by a majestic scenario which goes from the eastern coast of the island to S. Lourenço end; one can see in the distance Porto Santo and inwards the two highest mountain peaks of the island – Pico Ruivo and Areeiro.There are 39 rooms and 4 suites, all with view, very comfortable and decorated in a classic sober fashion. The hotel has a heated open air swimming-pool which can be covered in case of rain or bad weather in the winter. There are a sauna, a gymnasium, a game room and a library.
