Mercure Rennes Centre Gare is located right next to the Les Colombiers shopping centre, a large inner city retail complex featuring high street shops and cinemas. The area could be a bit intimidating at night. This is a mid-rise modern construction featuring much concrete and glass. On the main road entry, there is a large canopy complex with a restaurant and bar. The modern, functional lobby area is accessed through a door from a small side street off the main road. This is close to the underground car park entrance. Female guests may like to bear this in mind when arriving after dark. The lobby is medium to large in size, with a central feature containing magazines and flower arrangements and a small seating area to the rear.
