Hotel Vecellio is an excellent little, 3 star, boutique style hotel, with only 8 rooms. The hotel stands overlooking the Lagoon towards the islands of Murano, Burano, and St Michele. The hotel prides itself on its meticulous attention to detail and its location, being no more than a 15 minute walk from the beautiful Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. However, if guests prefer to use the water-bus vaporetto, then the stop is literally outside the hotel's front door guests should also note there is a direct water-bus link to Marco Polo airport from outside the hotel. Privately owned, and proudly run, by Signora Doralice, the Vecellio Hotel is a little gem of a hotel, slightly off the well-worn tourist track, but well worth a visit.
