It sounds almost exotic. An "Alpine-style" country- house hotel in the middle of Berlin, Germany's bustling capital. The name "Alpinia" brings back to memory a long-standing family tradition: The "Bayrische Wirtshaus Alpinia", was located at the same spot for over 80 years.In July 1993, this made way for a newly-built hotel.
