The Casa Munras Resort is a charming property in a prime location. It makes for a great base for exploring the Monterey peninsula and the surrounding california coastline. Hotel was renovated in 1996. Taken from brochure and ohg 3/6/99 Rooms are medium in size, uniquely colorful, and tastefully decorated, many with fireplaces. There is a restaurant on site serving breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located on 4.5 acres, consisting of eleven buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Parts of the hotel date from 1824, when it was the hacienda of the last Spanish diplomat to california.
