The hotel provides an elegant and sophisticated European lodging experience on the sands of Santa Monica Bay. * Casa Del Mar has advised that starting on February 19, 2013 through February, 21, 2013 the pool will be closed for maintenance. The scheduled work will go as follows: 2/18 - The pool will be drained after 10pm (the pool will remain available until that time). 2/19 - Starting at 10am, Canyon Country Pool will begin to demo and remove the damaged plaster. This will be the only noisy day. 2/20 - 2/21 - Repairs will include waterproofing, waterline tile, remove rust stain etc. The noise will be minimal on these 2 days. 2/22 - Pool will be back in service by 10am. Guests are welcome to use the pool area at Shutters on the Beach across the street.
