Bank Hotel is originally built as a bank in 1923, then converted into a hotel and tastefully refurbished in 1998. Its imposing facade remains an unquestionably impressive landmark on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Situated on the Royal Mile in the heart of Edinburgh, this is a hotel with a difference. The ground floor is occupied with Logie Bairds Bar, which is a popular venue for both locals and visitors either dining or socializing. The reception area is located to the rear of the bar and guest breakfast are served in the bar balcony. The staircase to the bedrooms is to the back of the bar through an oak panel door. The rooms are located over three floors and the hotel has no lift.* The pub and kitchen will be closed for refurbishment from 29/04/2013 to 30/06/2013.
